Report: David Moyes set for transfer windfall as TFG work on big Everton deal

The Friedkin Group are helping Everton to close in on a record-breaking sponsorship deal for the front of their shirt ahead of the summer.

New Premier League regulations coming into effect this summer will require Everton to move on from their current sponsor, Stake.

David Moyes has been able to take Everton into the top half of the table, with a lot of significant changes taking place on Merseyside under The Friedkin Group.

Everton have been placed in a much brighter financial position because of the Friedkins and their revenue stream is only set to increase.

Why do you think Dan Friedkin still has not shown his face at Everton? 🤨

More than 12 months on from landing on Merseyside, there is an increasingly positive verdict being formed on the American owners.

The Friedkins have recently secured another Hill Dickinson Stadium event to host later in the year, which is boosting the financial sheets against PSR.

And the Everton owners look set to build on their stadium naming rights deal with a new front-of-shirt sponsor this summer.

Speaking to iNews, Everton’s chief partnerships officer Mark Rollings hailed the work of the owners on Merseyside.

“I can’t overplay the significance of the Friedkins,” Rollings said.

“What they’ve brought is clear strategic direction, vision, alignment, clarity and they’ve given us stability.”

“Our opportunity isn’t just Everton and the stadium, it’s also to be part of this massively connected, hugely impressive ownership group.”

Having new streams of revenue come into the club is a significant boost for Moyes, as the revenue is set to be reinvested back into improving the squad.

In the January window, the Friedkins gave their financial backing to Moyes, but the right opportunities were not on the table.

Everton handed summer transfer encouragement

News of a record sponsorship deal being in the works should be of huge encouragement to those at Finch Farm.

Everton no longer fear the Premier League’s financial regulations on the back of the transformation under the Friedkins.

Having considerable new streams of revenue coming into the club allows them to balance the books and offer Moyes the money needed to improve the squad.

Another big summer is going to be needed on Merseyside as Everton have a number of players set to depart as either free agents or to their parent clubs.

Having financial freedom will be important for Moyes as he could even have to build a squad ready to compete in Europe for next season.
