Jesse Lingard has been linked with multiple clubs since becoming a free agent, but he is now in talks with Brazilian giants Corinthians.
After coming through Manchester United’s academy and breaking through under Louis van Gaal, Jesse Lingard won three trophies before leaving Old Trafford in 2022.
Lingard went on to spend a year at Nottingham Forest in the Premier League before moving on to FC Seoul in South Korea, where he made his final appearance in December 2025.
Since then, Lingard has been linked with multiple moves as a free agent, but it remains to be seen where he will be playing his football next.

According to ESPN, Lingard is in advanced talks with Brazilian top-tier side Corinthians.

Corinthians are just four games into the new Brazilian Serie A campaign, and they’ve racked up seven points so far.
A move to Corinthians for Lingard would spark a reunion with his former United teammate Memphis Depay, who moved his career to Brazil in 2024 after spending three years in Spain with Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.
Lingard played alongside Depay during the 2015/16 season, although the Netherlands international struggled at Old Trafford before being sold to Lyon in January 2017.

Memphis Depay stats at Corinthians
Memphis had a positive start to life at Corinthians after helping the Brazilian side secure the Paulista A1 title and the Copa do Brasil.
However, the former United forward has failed to score a goal since the new season began – and recently missed a penalty against rivals Palmeiras.
Memphis also missed the first few games of the season with an injury; however, he has scored 19 goals and registered 15 assists in 73 matches for Corinthians.
At the age of 32, Memphis is on course to make the Netherlands squad for the upcoming World Cup.
Memphis must prove his fitness between now and then.
