The Dutchman discussed a number of topics in his presser, including providing an injury update.

Elsewhere, Jeremie Frimpong has returned to training this week after he picked up an injury against Qarabag in the Champions League last month.

Speaking ahead of West Ham, Slot provided updates on both Frimpong and Wirtz.
He said: “Jeremie is [expected to be involved], trained with us a few times this week. So he is available.
“I don’t expect Florian to be available [against West Ham]. So, that’s a disappointment. Every time my player is not available is a disappointment. Something I didn’t expect after last week. That’s sometimes how things can evolve. Unfortunately, this time not in a positive way.”
With Wirtz out, it is likely we will see Dominik Szoboszlai or Alexis Mac Allister feature as the number 10.
