Gary Lineker on Benjamin Sesko’s improvement at Man Utd and the key turnaround factor at Old Trafford
Carrick was installed as Red Devils interim boss in January after Man Utd sacked Ruben Amorim from his head coach role at the Premier League club.
Lineker insisted that “situation” around the reign of Ruben Amorim at Man Utd had a knock-on effect for the likes of Sesko and Co at Old Trafford this season.
“So, you know, it’s taken him time to settle, but that’s probably the Amorim situation as well, which is all over the shop,” he added.
“Everyone was struggling for form.”
Sesko left RB Leipzig last summer and the former RB Salzburg striker signed for Man Utd in a deal worth £73.7m.
