Ferencvaros boss Robbie Keane is a contender to replace Oliver Glasner as Crystal Palace manager, GMS understands.
Glasner will leave Palace at the end of the season after confirming his departure at the end of the season earlier this year.
An earlier exit was also discussed in the build up to the 1-0 win over Wolves last Sunday following the draw in the first leg of their Europa Conference League playoff tie against Zrinjski Mostar, where the Austrian was jeered by the travelling fans in the stadium.
Yet Palace are now 10 points clear of the relegation zone and through to the knockout stage of the Europa Conference League following a 3-1 aggregate win over the Bosnia and Herzegovina side.

Keane is currently the head coach of Hungarian side Ferencvaros and won the league last season. His Ferencvaros side also beat Ludogorets on Thursday to progress to the knockout stage of the Europa League, coming back from a 2-1 first-leg loss to win the tie 3-2.
Keane has been linked with a host of British teams this season, including Tottenham Hotspur and Celtic, having impressed in Hungary.
He is understood to be on the Palace shortlist, while GMS understands that former PSV and Benfica boss Roger Schmidt is another contender.
Rayo Vallecano's Inigo Perez and Getafe's Pepe Bordalas were also two names discussed last year, but neither has been formally approached to date.
Tottenham Have Discussed Keane Possibility
ROBBIE KEANE FERENCVAROS
Keane has also been discussed by Tottenham, but Roberto De Zerbi and Mauricio Pochettino are believed to be higher in their thinking, as it stands. Keane is a fan favourite at Spurs, having scored 122 goals in 306 games across two spells.
Celtic also have their former striker on their radar to be manager next season, with Martin O'Neill only in charge until the summer.
Sources close to Keane expect him to leave Ferencvaros this summer, but have cautioned against any mid-season exit, believing he wants to see the season out and try and win back-to-back titles.
Ferencvaros are currently second in the Hungarian top-flight, three points behind leaders ETO Gyor with 10 games remaining. The two sides face each other in what could be a crucial title decider on April 18.
