Manchester United football director Jason Wilcox has held internal discussions over a potential transfer swoop for Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White.
After signing no new players in January, Manchester United are expected to continue their squad rebuild this summer.
United have been linked with an array of players, including Nottingham Forest duo Elliot Anderson and Morgan Gibbs-White, who are both proven in the Premier League.
Forest could struggle to keep their best players if they suffer relegation back to the Championship. They are currently two points adrift of the bottom three in 17th place.
If you were Man United’s director of football with £200m to spend in the summer, what would be your dream window?

Jason Wilcox pushing for Morgan Gibbs-White transfer
United have been linked with Anderson since the beginning of the season, but it emerged earlier this week that Gibbs-White is now being considered as a target.
The Red Devils can boost their chances of landing their primary targets in the summer by securing Champions League qualification, which is a greater possibility following Michael Carrick’s run of five wins and one draw since being appointed head coach until the end of the season.
According to reliable reporter Ben Jacobs, United are more interested in signing Anderson than Gibbs-White, but that doesn’t mean they won’t move for both players when the transfer window opens.

Jacobs explains that United’s football director, Jason Wilcox, is the driving force behind the interest in Gibbs-White.
“Yeah, they’re more interested in Elliot Anderson than Morgan Gibbs-White,” Jacobs told The United Stand.
“But Gibbs-White has been discussed as well in a transfer, I’m told, that is driven by Jason Wilcox. But Jason Wilcox’s job is to take thousands of meetings and explore where there’s market opportunities.
“And of course, were Nottingham Forest to go down, there may be market opportunities there. So, you would want Manchester United to be holding these conversations.”
How would you RATE Jason Wilcox’s performance for Manchester United as DOF?
Is the criticism unfair? Or should Ineos be looking to replace Wilcox with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer or a more experienced sporting director?

Morgan Gibbs-White record against Man Utd
After playing for Wolves and Nottingham Forest, Gibbs-White has a decent record against United.
The 26-year-old was on the losing side four times, but he also managed three wins and two draws.
Gibbs-White has also managed five goal contributions against the Red Devils. That includes three goals and two assists.
One of those goals was scored earlier this season when United drew 2-2 against Forest.
The next time Forest face United is in the second last Premier League game of the season at Old Trafford. That will come as an audition for Gibbs-White and Anderson.
