Former West Ham United loan star Jesse Lingard is set to seal a shock move to Brazilian giants Corinthians.
Lingard, who starred on loan at West Ham United in 2021, has been without a club since leaving FC Seoul in December.

Indeed, Lingard wanted to return to West Ham in January, but Nuno Espirito Santo instead made a move to sign Adama Traore.
It remains to be seen if that was the right idea but Lingard is now set to move to one of Brazil’s most storied clubs, according to Fabrizio Romano.

It would perhaps be fair to say that Lingard’s career has never really recovered since leaving West Ham.
Though Seoul and Corinthians represent fantastic moves, playing in South Korea and Brazil did seem somewhat out of the question when Lingard was forcing his way back into the England set-up due to his stunning Premier League form at West Ham.
It would have been fascinating to see what would have happened had Lingard signed for the Hammers on a permanent basis.
Lingard had previously been linked with a move to Italy, as well as Dutch outfit Feyenoord and another Brazilian club.
He has struggled for first team football since leaving Manchester United in 2022, when he opted to join Nottingham Forest instead of returning to West Ham.
