There is a lot of the line for both Manchester City and Leeds United when the two sides meet this weekend. The Whites are eager to add yet more points on the board as they seek Premier League safety.
Pep Guardiola’s men on the other hand, have their eye on the title. They are currently five points behind Arsenal with a game in hand, and cannot afford to drop points when they visit Elland Road on Saturday.

The home crowd will be Leeds’ biggest advantage this weekend; the club have lost just two games at Elland Road since November. It is not going to be an easy task for Pep Guardiola’s men.
Pep Guardiola get major boost with key player’s return
There is some good news for Manchester City, as Pep revealed on Friday that Jeremy Doku may be available for Saturday’s clash. The Belgian has been out for weeks with a lower leg injury, but could be ready in time for the game. Guardiola revealed that the winger trained this week, and a decision will be made on his availability after consulting club doctors.
Leeds on the other hand, have an almost full squad available to them ahead of this weekend. Noah Okafor is the only major absence in the team, after his injury against Birmingham in the FA Cup.

It will be difficult for Leeds United to stop Jeremy Doku
Jeremy Doku played a huge part in Manchester City’s campaign before going down with an injury in the Champions League game in January. The winger is quick, direct and a handful for any fullback. Most importantly, when he does contribute to a goal or assist, City win this season – his impact in the team is undeniable. If he does feature on Saturday, then Jayden Bogle will have his hands full.
This will be a bit of a problem for the right back, who is more attacking minded. He loves to contribute to build up and get high up the pitch, but Leeds may be in trouble if he is up against Doku on Saturday. Farke has found a solution to this before earlier this season; playing Brenden Aaronson on the right for him to help deal with the winger defensively in a game against Fulham – maybe that can come in handy this weekend.
