With two Champions League ties against Barcelona booked for The Magpies, Newcastle fans will be looking for the best travel options to support the lads when they head overseas. Both legs of the last-16 encounter will be taking place in March.
Newcastle are at home first, on Tuesday March 10 or Wednesday March 11, with the away leg on Tuesday, March 17 or Wednesday March 18. And it seems many have been quick off the mark, with several flights already fully booked.
Ryanair is the only airline offering direct flights between Newcastle and Barcelona. However, the flight on Monday, March 16, departing at 17.20 and arriving in Barcelona at 21.10, is already sold out.
And it's a similar story in Leeds as the Jet2 flight departing from Leeds Bradford Airport on Monday, March 16, at 07.40, arriving in Barcelona at 11.15, is also fully booked.
At the time of writing, there was still availablity on the return flight to Newcastle on Saturday, March 21, departing at 10.25 and arriving back in Newcastle at 12.15. The price was showing as £33.99 per person, reduced from £45.99.
