Hearts teenager Keir McMeekin has been approached to switch allegiances from Scotland to England.
The 16-year-old, who has been linked with a move to EPL giants Manchester City in the summer, has turned out for the Scots' Under-17 side.
As well as both Scotland and England, McMeekin also qualifies for Northern Ireland, and is said to be considering his international options.
A midfielder held in the highest regard by everyone at Tynecastle, it is only a matter of time until McMeekin breaks through into the first-team setup and is thought to be close to a full debut for Derek McInnes’ side.
