Everton will hope that they are able to keep hold of the player for as long as possible
Everton could offer Iliman Ndiaye ‘improved terms’ amid interest from Manchester United, according to reporter Ben Jacobs, via a report by GiveMeSport. The Toffees are keen to keep hold of the attacker for as long as possible. His current contract expires in June 2029.
David Moyes’ side are back in action this weekend with an away trip to Newcastle United. They will be looking to return to winning ways. The Merseyside outfit are currently sat in 9th place in the Premier League table after 27 fixtures.
Everton transfer latest regarding Iliman Ndiaye amid Manchester United talk
Everton won’t want to lose Ndiaye, especially to Manchester United. They should do everything in their power to tie him down to an extension. In this latest update regarding his long-term future at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, journalist Jacobs has said: “Everton's perspective is the same as Jarrad Branthwaite.
“Manchester United bid multiple times for Branthwaite and Dan Friedkin and his team said 'nope, we're not selling'. Everton don't see themselves as a selling club. I think Ndiaye may look for a move, but I am actually under the impression from Everton sources that he's going to be really difficult to get out of that football club this summer, and they might even offer him improved terms."
Ndiaye, 25, joined the Toffees back in 2024 and hasn’t looked back since. He has become one of their most prized assets and has potential to get even better over the coming years. The 25-year-old is a Senegal international with 39 caps under his belt.
What now for Iliman Ndiaye at Everton?
Everton’s resolve would be tested if a big money bid came in from elsewhere for Ndiaye. He has made 59 appearances since his transfer and he has fired 16 goals, five of which have come in this campaign. Prior to his move, he had spells with the likes of Sheffield United and Marseille.
The Toffees still have a chance of getting into Europe this term if they can hit some form. Moyes has done an eye-catching job since his return and he has steadied the ship since taking over from Sean Dyche. His team will be in for a tough test against Newcastle up next and will need to be at their best to get something from the game.
