Manchester United's hunt for a new manager is continuing ahead of the summer, and it has now emerged that a highly-rated boss would be open to the job, according to GIVEMESPORT senior correspondent Ben Jacobs.
The Red Devils parted ways with Ruben Amorim in January after 14 months in charge and have appointed Michael Carrick as interim boss until the end of the campaign, with the former midfielder racking up five wins in six games to help the team move to just three points off third place.

Thomas Tuchel penned a new contract with England, while Carlo Ancelotti has agreed a long-term extension with Brazil. But another manager who has been linked with the Old Trafford job is Germany boss Julian Nagelsmann, and he is expected to be available after the World Cup this summer.
Described as a 'genius', the former Bayern boss is out of contract following the tournament and having previously managed in the Bundesliga to great success, Ben Jacobs told The United Stand that he would be keen to take on a role in the Premier League.
"Julian Nagelsmann would be interested in a Premier League job, unlike some other names," he said.
"Thomas Tuchel has signed a new deal [with England], Carlo Ancelotti extending as well [with Brazil. He is expected to be available, as it stands, on the market."
