Liverpool will look to extend their three-match winning run when they take on West Ham this afternoon. The Reds will face the struggling east London side at Anfield at 3pm.
Arne Slot's side sit in sixth in the Premier League table, on the same points as Chelsea, and will hope to leapfrog into the top four above rivals Manchester United. To do so, they need to win by four or more goals.
The Reds have put together a brilliant run of form in recent weeks with wins over Nottingham Forest and Sunderland.
An FA Cup victory against Brighton boosted their trophy hopes significantly and Slot hopes his side is ready for the season's run-in. Speaking ahead of the West Ham clash, he said: "The way I see it is that it’s another game for us and we’re not so focused on other teams.
"As all managers always say, we are mainly focused on ourselves and we know that we need to win a lot of games because our competitors for these Champions League places are very good teams as well, win a lot.
"So we know we have to win a lot as well, and that’s where our focus is on and not so much about points, gaps, all the difference. Although we are aware of the league table, that’s for sure."
Forgotten star plans exit
Reports claim that Giorgi Mamardashvili is considering a loan move away from Liverpool. The Georgia international is understood to be "frustrated" with his current role and hasn't ruled out a move to secure more game time.

Mamardashvili joined the Reds in 2024 from Valencia and has made just 11 appearances so far. TEAMTalk reports that Liverpool look set to keep first-choice goalkeeper Alisson next season, further limiting the 25-year-old.
It has been claimed that the club "remain committed" to keeping Mamardashvili but could sanction a temporary switch elsewhere if the right option appears.

Slot's summer transfer plans could already be underway as a Liverpool target's agent jets into Portugal to talk business. Gremio winger Gabriel Mec has been on the club's radar for some time, with reports in December claiming interest in the teenager.
The wonderkid has been heralded as the 'best since Ronaldinho' to hail from Gremio and is now appearing on the European radar. Reports in Brazil state that Mec's agent has flown to Portugal to hold talks with multiple clubs, including Benfica and Sporting CP.
So far, the 17-year-old has made 33 appearances at various levels for Gremio, scoring five goals and assisting twice. Mec has nine caps for the Brazil U17s national team and one goal to his name.
Liverpool spent big last summer with acquisitions including Alexander Isak, Hugo Ekitike and Florian Wirtz. Local wonderkid Rio Ngumoha has proven that Slot will rely on teenage talent if he deems it appropriate and may consider Mec as another worthwhile addition to his team.
But Slot may be forced into action soon if he wants to stop the starlet from joining a Portuguese club.
