Liverpool will aim to continue their three-game winning streak when they host West Ham this afternoon. The Reds welcome the struggling east London outfit to Anfield for a 3pm kick-off.
Arne Slot's team are currently in sixth place in the Premier League table, level on points with Chelsea, and will be hoping to climb into the top four ahead of rivals Manchester United. To achieve this, they require a win by four goals or more.
The Reds have been on an impressive run of results in recent weeks with wins over Nottingham Forest and Sunderland.
An FA Cup success against Brighton enhanced their trophy prospects considerably and Slot is confident his team will be prepared for the season's final stretch. Speaking before the West Ham fixture, he said: "The way I see it is that it's another game for us and we're not so focused on other teams.
"As all managers always say, we are mainly focused on ourselves and we know that we need to win a lot of games because our competitors for these Champions League places are very good teams as well, win a lot.

"So we know we have to win a lot as well, and that's where our focus is on and not so much about points, gaps, all the difference. Although we are aware of the league table, that's for sure."

Reports suggest that Giorgi Mamardashvili is contemplating a loan move away from Liverpool. The Georgia international is said to be "frustrated" with his current role and hasn't ruled out a transfer.
Mamardashvili signed for the Reds in 2024 from Valencia and has only made 11 appearances to date. TEAMTalk reports that Liverpool are likely to retain first-choice goalkeeper Alisson next season, further restricting opportunities for shotstopper.
It's understood that the club "remain committed" to keeping the 25-year-old but may approve a temporary move elsewhere if the right opportunity presents itself.

Slot's summer transfer preparations could already be in motion as the agent of a Liverpool target flies into Portugal for negotiations. Gremio winger Gabriel Mec has been on the club's radar for a while, with reports last December indicating interest in the star.
The teenager has been hailed as the 'best since Ronaldinho' to emerge from Gremio and is now attracting attention from Europe. Reports in Brazil indicate that Mec's agent has travelled to Portugal to conduct talks with several clubs, including Benfica and Sporting CP.
To date, the 17-year-old has made 33 appearances across various levels for Gremio, scoring five goals and providing two assists. Mec has earned nine caps for the Brazil U17s national team and has one goal to his credit.

Liverpool made significant investments last summer with the signings of Alexander Isak, Hugo Ekitike and Florian Wirtz. Rio Ngumoha has demonstrated that Slot is willing to utilise young talent if he deems it suitable, and Mec could be another valuable addition to his squad.
However, Slot may need to act swiftly if he wants to prevent the young star from signing with a Portuguese club.
