Liverpool’s 2025/26 season has been nothing short of chaotic. Despite all the ups and downs, the Reds are still in with a realistic opportunity of finishing in the top four. The beginning of the season was understandably tough for Arne Slot’s men following the tragic death of Diogo Jota. Injuries and loss of form have seen Liverpool drop points in games that cruised through last season. Their form has improved recently, and the club has progressed to the fifth round of the FA Cup, with a last-16 Champions League tie against Galatasaray scheduled for March 10. They return to Premier League action on February 28 against West Ham at Anfield. Here is our Liverpool predicted lineup.
Liverpool Predicted Lineup and Team News vs West Ham United
How Liverpool Have Lined Up Recently
Last time out, the Reds travelled to the City Ground to face struggling Nottingham Forest. It was a challenging 90 minutes for Arne Slot’s team, with Forest winning many of the first and second balls. Despite the difficulties during the match, Liverpool battled hard, and after some tricky play by Rio Ngumoha, Alexis Mac Allister scored a dramatic winner deep in injury time.
Liverpool started that game in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Alisson in goal, and Milos Kerkez, Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate, and Dominik Szoboszlai completing the defence.

In midfield, Slot selected Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch, while Cody Gakpo, Curtis Jones, and Mohamed Salah supported Hugo Ekitike.
Liverpool Team News
During his pre-match press conference, Slot discussed the availability of Kerkez after his substitution against Forest: “He was completely fit, he played 80 mins and then I changed it for Robertson. I changed my wingers and full-backs for that fresh energy. That is the good thing about having more than 11 players. If I can, I do so. Milos played an OK game. He is available for tomorrow.”

The Liverpool boss also spoke on the availability of Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz:
“Jeremie is OK, trained with us and is available, don’t expect Florian to be, which is a disappointment, every time my player isn’t available is disappointment and I didn’t expect. No [idea how long he is out] usually I do but don’t want to share it but I honestly don’t know. It’s a big accomplishment for him to stay fit for such a long time because he had to stay fit to make the step up but unfortunately he is not available, which is a disappointment for him and for us, because he played really well.”
