Four changes in Sunderland XI as Regis Le Bris makes big forward call at Bournemouth

Mayenda is preferred to Wilson Isidor as the replacement for the injured Brian Brobbey at the Vitality Stadium.

As expected, Nordi Mukiele also misses out through injury, with Lutsharel Geetruida expected to start at right-back. Trai Hume will start at left back with Reinildo Mandava and Dennis Cirkin both unavailable.

Granit Xhaka returns to skipper the Sunderland side at the heart of midfield, having been a second-half substitute in last weekend's defeat to Fulham.

Chemsdine Talbi is also back in the starting XI, with Jocelin Ta Bi and Nilson Angulo dropping out of the team that kicked off against Fulham six days ago.

Bertrand Traore returns to the squad after completing his recovery from a knee injury, and is part of a substitutes' bench that also features Milan Aleksic, who was recalled from a loan spell in Poland in January.
