Erling Haaland has been left out of Manchester City's squad for their trip to Leeds United on Saturday evening.

Haaland has 22 goals in 27 appearances for City this season but will miss out at Elland Road, in the city of his birth, with Rayan Cherki coming into the starting XI for Pep Guardiola's side.

City travel to west Yorkshire aiming to cut the gap to league leaders Arsenal to just two points with a win.

Omar Marmoush, Cherki and Antoine Semenyo make up City's forward line in the absence of the side's talisman with Phil Foden, Savino and Jeremy Doku the attacking options from the bench.

Man City XI

Donnarumma, Nunes, Dias, Guéhi, Ait-Nouri, Rodri, Silva, O'Reilly, Semenyo, Cherki, Marmoush.

Leeds XI

Darlow, Bogle, Gudmundsson, Rodon, Struijk, Justin, Ampadu, Gruev, Stach, Aaronson, Calvert-Lewin.
