Iliman Ndiaye certainly enjoyed Everton’s winning goal with his celebration against Newcastle United frustrating the home fans.

Everton’s away form is proving so impressive, with the Toffees showcasing their quality away from the Hill Dickinson stadium.

It was a drama-filled game up on Tyneside as David Moyes’ side provided instant responses to two Newcastle goals to seal the points.

Ndiaye’s future at Everton is under scrutiny ahead of the summer, but no one can question his commitment having seen his celebration after Thierno Barry’s winner.

Iliman Ndiaye’s Everton celebration vs Newcastle was a risk

Ndiaye was booked for taunting Brighton fans last season with his seagull celebration down on the south coast.

After Barry put the Blues back ahead, the Everton winger turned around to the home supporters and rubbed his eyes pretending to cry.

Fortunately the referee did not see the incident and Ndiaye escaped a booking this time.

However, he certainly enjoyed the moment, with the travelling Everton fans all the way up in Level Seven of St James’ Park.

Moyes has noticed Ndiaye return to fitness following his Africa Cup of Nations triumph, which took it out of the winger on his return.

Ndiaye looked lively all afternoon against Newcastle and he came up with his moment of quality in his involvement for the winning goal.

It was a good match-up for Ndiaye in facing an ageing Kieran Trippier; it was a battle that the winger won.
