Daniel Farke was sent off at full-time
Leeds United manager Daniel Farke was sent off after the final whistle for confronting referee Peter Bankes following the 1-0 defeat to Manchester City at Elland Road. Farke was seen approaching Bankes and seemed to question him, but the referee instantly pulled out his red card to dismiss him and then gestured for him to walk away.
The title contenders continued to pile the pressure on Arsenal, running out 1-0 winners at Elland Road thanks to an Antoine Semenyo first‑half strike. The hosts created several chances to level the match and pushed City all the way, but were unfortunate not to find the back of the net.
Farke marched onto the pitch after the whistle and vented his anger at the officials.
