Leeds United were left to rue missed chances as they fell to a 1-0 defeat against Manchester City on Saturday. Antoine Semenyo’s first-half goal decided the game at Elland Road with the Whites unable to find a way past Pep Guardiola’s Premier League title contenders.
Leeds will be left disappointed to lose but can take pride from their performance and the fact they remain six points clear of West Ham United in 18th. There are also two teams between themselves and the Hammers, a position few would have turned down with 10 games remaining.
