Peter Crouch names Bryan Mbeumo as his Premier League signing of the season

Peter Crouch explains why Bryan Mbeumo is his Premier League signing of the season following a transfer from Brentford to Manchester United.

Bryan Mbeumo may have cost Manchester United £71 million, but the Cameroonian forward has hit the ground running at Old Trafford by scoring 10 goals across all competitions so far this season.

In United’s 1-0 win over Everton, Carrick made some changes from the bench, but Mbeumo sparked concern as he limped off the pitch.

Thankfully for United fans and Carrick, Mbeumo was pictured in training this week.

Peter Crouch hails Bryan Mbeumo for making a difference at Man Utd

Even though Mbeumo is United’s top scorer with 10 goals, the former Brentford ace will be hoping to increase his season tally before the end of the season.

Mbeumo enjoyed his best season at Brentford last term, scoring 20 goals in the Premier League.

Although Mbeumo hasn’t managed to hit the same numbers for United, it is his first season.

Bryan Mbeumo has never lost against Crystal Palace

Mbeumo has a good record against Crystal Palace since moving to England.

On the one occasion Mbeumo played against Palace for United, he played 90 minutes in a 2-1 but wasn’t able to register a goal contribution.

That said, Mbeumo scored two goals and registered one assist against the Eagles during his time at Brentford.

Mbeumo has won three games and drawn five against Palace since the 2021/22 Premier League season.
