Leeds player ratings: Lots of sevens and eights as Whites fall just short

Leeds United suffered a rare home defeat but they pushed Manchester City very hard for their 1-0 win.

Karl Darlow – some very good saves, the best of them a stretching one from Marc Guehi in the second half 8

James Justin – really good on the right of a back three, where he can get forward too 8

Joe Rodon – really solid defending from the Welshman 7

Pascal Struijk – good on the ball as well as defensively, just a pity he looked after the wrong man for the goal 7

Jayden Bogle – attacked well, especially in the first half 7

Ethan Ampadu – unusually untidy 6

Brenden Aaronson – his failure to take two good chances would be Leeds' undoing 6
