The 4-2-3-1 that Vitor Pereira can utilise to help Nottingham Forest beat Brighton

Nottingham Forest take on Brighton today, knowing that there is another golden chance to pull clear of the relegation zone.

West Ham were smashed 5-2 by Liverpool on Saturday, which means Forest can go five points clear of them with all three points at the AMEX Stadium.

Vitor Pereira has overseen consecutive losses, with last Sunday’s 1-0 defeat to Liverpool being followed by a Forest side with six changes made being overturned 2-1 by Fenerbahce in the Europa League.

This afternoon is now an extremely important game for Forest and any points that can be carried back to Nottingham would be extremely welcome.

With that in mind, here is the team that we think will give Forest the very best chance to claim a massive win down south.

How Nottingham Forest should line up vs Brighton

Stefan Ortega is rated touch-and-go for this one, but the hope will be that the German can recover to take his place between the posts.

The regular back four should be in operation this afternoon, with Nikola Milenkovic enjoying a well-earned rest in midweek.

Murillo, Ola Aina and Neco Williams should all play in their usual positions as Pereira looks to go as strong as possible.

Is THIS the Nottingham Forest team to overcome Brighton on Sunday?

Would you make any changes?

In midfield, Elliot Anderson and Ibrahim Sangare should start together, with Forest deploying as many of the players who normally start as possible.

Morgan Gibbs-White only played for a few minutes against Fenerbahce, and he should return as the number 10, with Igor Jesus starting in the attack.

On the flanks, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Omari Hutchinson should get the nod to play, with both players now established as the first-choice wingers in the squad.
