I feel it would simply be rude to not acknowledge the job Michael Carrick has done since taking the Man United interim role this season.
Let’s have a look at his results so far:
* Man United 2-0 Man City
* Arsenal 2-3 Man United
* Man United 3-2 Fulham
* Man United 2-0 Tottenham
* West Ham 1-1 Man United
* Everton 0-1 Man United
Should he get the job full time?

I don’t know about you guys, but the calendar flicking to March 1 today has got me thinking: are we officially in ‘business end of the season’ territory?
There are around 10 Premier League games left for every club this season, and my word, there is so much at stake.
Today we’re bringing you live coverage of Man United vs Crystal Palace and, for the Red Devils at least, this is a biggie.
Win today and Michael Carrick’s men can go above Aston Villa into third. I don’t think anyone saw that coming when Ruben Amorim was still in the Old Trafford dugout.
Elsewhere we have Fulham hosting Tottenham and, dear me, do Spurs need a victory.
If Igor Tudor’s men lose and Nottingham Forest beat Brighton in the third 2pm kick-off this afternoon, Spurs will drop to 17th. That would be just astonishing.
Anyway, we can deal with all the narratives as and when they come. For now, put your feet up, relax, and stick with us as we build up to a glorious afternoon of Premier League football.
