Manchester United v Crystal Palace - Premier League - Old Trafford
Goalscorer: Benjamin Sesko
Benjamin Sesko scored for the sixth time in his last seven appearances as Manchester United came from behind to beat ten-man Crystal Palace on Sunday.
The Slovenian striker had gained a reputation as something of a super-sub in recent weeks after scoring off the bench in three of United’s last four, but he made a rare start here and took the chance to impress.
Palace went in at half-time leading 1-0 thanks to an inch-perfect header from Maxence Lacroix, which left Senne Lammens rooted to put the visitors in front mere minutes into the match.
United improved after their slow start, though, and were handed a gilt-edge chance to draw level when Lacroix turned from hero to villain, pulling Matheus Cunha down in the box, earning a red card and a penalty for his actions.
Bruno Fernandes dispatched the penalty to level the score, before Sesko headed home to complete the turnaround.
