Nottingham Forest were beaten again in the Premier League, this time to Brighton, who never needed to work for the win, given the gifts on offer from the Reds.
If Vitor Pereira wasn’t aware of the magnitude of the job he’s got on his hands at the City Ground, he will now be under no illusions whatsoever.
The scoring was opened by Diego Gomez, who fizzed an effort beyond Matz Sels, who did get a hand to it.

Forest rallied well after the setback, however, with Morgan Gibbs-White taking the net off with an unstoppable effort from outside the penalty area.
However, one ugly trait at the moment is the Reds’ nasty habit of conceding straight after a goal and 40 seconds later, Danny Welbeck helped himself to another Premier League goal after poor defending from Neco Williams.
After the latest poor performance, we looked at the players and scored them out of 10.
Matz Sels – 6
Could have done better with the first goal, which Brighton scored, but redeemed himself by keeping Forest in the game for large parts of it.

Ola Aina – 5
Not the best performance you will ever see from Aina at right-back, and he looked somewhat leggy after being required to come at half-time in midweek.
Nikola Milenkovic – 6
One of Forest’s better performers across the 90 minutes, and despite the chips being down at the moment, fans always know what they’re going to get from Milenkovic.
Murillo – 6
Didn’t perform too badly, but should have perhaps done more to close Welbeck down for the second goal, which Brighton scored.
Neco Williams – 2
Was at fault for both the goals in the first half, which Brighton scored and whether a bit of fatigue crept in or not, this was a massive step backwards when it comes to the form of the full-back.

Ibrahim Sangare – 4
A very ordinary performance from Sangare, who didn’t look like his usual self in the heart of the Forest team. Another player who was perhaps feeling a little bit leggy.
Elliot Anderson – 5
Tried his best to get Forest going, but once again, the good chance that fell to him was smashed high over the bar, with his shooting a real cause for concern.
Omari Hutchinson – 5
The fact that he was outpaced at one point by a 40-year-old in James Milner pretty much summed up his 90 minutes on the pitch.
Morgan Gibbs-White – 7
Forest’s best player, and by some distance. The engine on Gibbs-White is just remarkable, and if the Reds had 11 Gibbs-Whites, there is no way they’d be in this mess.
Callum Hudson-Odoi – 5
Did well in the first half but tired badly in the second half and couldn’t get his usual game going before being substituted with 10 minutes remaining.
Igor Jesus – 6
Seemed to slip over more times than he made positive impacts, although he did do very well in the build-up to the goal scored by Gibbs-White.
Substitutes
Luca Netz – 6
Got high up the pitch and seemed to benefit from Forest switching up the system.
Jair Cunha – 6
Didn’t do anything wrong and looks composed and assured when he does get minutes on the pitch.
Dilane Bakwa – 6
Perhaps should have done better with the chance he had, but it’s going to take some time to get his confidence back up.
Dan Ndoye – 5
Didn’t really do much other than win a couple of free-kicks, and it’s still not completely certain what his best position is.
Taiwo Awoniyi – 6
Had to do better with a header he had from a set-piece, and it was quite interesting to see him get the nod ahead of Lorenzo Lucca on the bench.
