Bruno Fernandes produced an exceptional performance as Manchester United came from behind to defeat Crystal Palace 2-1 in the Premier League.
Michael Carrick made one change to his starting line up for the match, with Benjamin Sesko handed his first start under the new head coach. It was Palace who began the better side, though, and they took a very early lead when Maxence Lacroix headed in from a corner.
The visitors wasted a couple of half-chances to double their lead, while United went close to an equaliser through headed efforts from both Harry Maguire and Sesko. Bruno Fernandes drew a fine stop from Dean Henderson from a fierce free-kick, and Casemiro should have scored when he headed wide from close range.
United started the second half strongly, and the game turned on its head when Lacroix was sent off for fouling Cunha in the box, as Fernandes drew his side level from the resulting penalty. It wasn't long before they took the lead when Sesko produced an emphatic header from a brilliant Fernandes cross into the box.
Here is how we rated the United players at Old Trafford:
A good stop to deny Sarr from doubling the lead. Not much he could do about the opener. Another calm performance without ever looking troubled.
1. Senne Lammens - 6.5

Beaten far too easily by Lacroix as Palace took an early lead. He struggled physically for most of the match but improved with his passing.
3. Leny Yoro - 5

Found it difficult to keep up with Sarr to begin with. He went close to a goal when his header was blocked in the box. The best defender who started.
4. Harry Maguire - 6.5
