Manchester United have climbed up to third in the Premier League table by coming from behind to beat Crystal Palace at Old Trafford.
Just like they did in the reverse fixture against Crystal Palace this season, Manchester United fell behind early on against Oliver Glasner’s side when Maxence Lacroix scored from a corner.
However, a penalty converted by Bruno Fernandes was quickly followed by another goal from Benjamin Sesko, completing a second-half comeback to win 2-1.

Leny Yoro fails to redeem himself
In the reverse fixture this season, United beat Palace 2-1 at Selhurst Park, but the Red Devils fell behind early on after Leny Yoro conceded a penalty with a reckless challenge.
This was a golden opportunity for Yoro to redeem himself at Old Trafford against the same opposition, but the French defender ended up making another error.
In Palace’s opener, Yoro lost the flight of the ball and crucially lost his marker, Maxence Lacroix, who headed past Senne Lammens.

Luke Shaw injury ends streak
Luke Shaw has started every Premier League game for United this season in what has been an unexpected fitness boost.
Shaw has had many injury problems throughout his time at Old Trafford, but he was enjoying a long run in the starting XI.
However, the 30-year-old’s streak is now at risk as he was taken off in the first half with a foot injury. With the Newcastle United clash just around the corner, Shaw will now be a doubt.
Benjamin Sesko continues red-hot form
Benjamin Sesko has come to United’s rescue on several occasions in recent weeks, including scoring the winner against Everton last time out.
Sesko has been in great form and deserves to be starting, and he was finally thrown into Carrick’s starting XI for the first time against Palace.
How do you predict Benjamin Sesko’s career at Manchester United will go?

Once again, the Slovenian found the back of the net, meaning he now has four goals in his last five Premier League games and nine in total this season.
Bruno Fernandes vs Dean Henderson
Since making the move to Manchester in 2020, Bruno Fernandes boasts an incredible penalty record, and he extended it by finding the back of the net against Palace.
When the Portuguese playmaker stepped up to take the penalty, he went face-to-face with former United teammate Dean Henderson.
Henderson will have seen Fernandes take hundreds of penalties in the flesh at Carrington, but he was sent the wrong way by United’s captain at Old Trafford.
Michael Carrick outclasses Oliver Glasner
The process to hire a permanent head coach at United in the summer is well underway, and two of the top candidates faced off at Old Trafford.
United fans want Carrick to stay, and one of his top competitors is Palace boss Oliver Glasner, who is confirmed to be leaving the London outfit in the summer.
Glasner spoke highly of United ahead of the match, but his hopes of landing the job are all but gone after he was outclassed by Carrick’s side.
While Palace may have taken the lead through a set piece, Carrick was able to inspire a brilliant second-half comeback to strengthen his claim for the United job.
