West Ham United still have slim hope of catching either Nottingham Forest or Tottenham in the Premier League’s relegation battle, according to experts.
This season, the relegation battle is between West Ham, Forest and Tottenham, and Nuno Espirito Santo’s side ceded some of the momentum they had created.
Indeed, West Ham United lost 5-2 to Liverpool, meaning both Forest and Spurs could take advantage.

They lost to Brighton and Fulham respectively, meaning the Irons are just two points off Forest and four behind Spurs with 10 games left to play.
Opta believe they are still on course to go down.
West Ham have a 29.52% chance of survival, Forest 76.06% and Spurs 95.5%
All three of the teams have ten games left to play, and Forest and Spurs will meet each other later this month in what looks like an absolutely huge clash.
According to Opta’s Supercomputer, West Ham have a 70.48% chance of being relegated to the Championship.

Forest’s chances, meanwhile, stand at 23.94%. Spurs are given just a 4.5% chance of suffering a first-ever relegation from the Premier League.
Obviously, relegation would have huge financial implications at West Ham but all hope is not lost yet.
While the Liverpool game passed them by, it didn’t end up having a huge impact on the standings towards the bottom of the Premier League table.
It does, however, put huge pressure on Wednesday’s trip to Fulham. If West Ham can win that, it puts them just one point behind Spurs – who don’t play until they host Crystal Palace a day later.

Leeds are only six points ahead of West Ham and still have them to play on the final day of the season but they are given just a 2.07% chance of being relegated.
West Ham still have an awful lot to do in the relegation battle and they remain favourites for the drop, but all hope is not lost yet. Ten cup finals await.
