Everton sold Youssef Chermiti to Rangers last summer transfer window.
David Moyes and his recruitment chiefs decided to sanction Youssef Chermiti’s sale for around £10m on deadline day.
Chermiti endured a slow start to his Rangers career and a large portion of the Ibrox faithful were doubting the signing initially.

However, the former Everton striker has really started to show his true potential in recent weeks, as he’s netted five goals in his last three games.
The 21-year-old netted a brace against fierce rivals Celtic this afternoon, and his first goal was absolutely extraordinary.
Chermiti scored a bicycle kick to open the scoring, and it’s gone viral on social media.

Did Everton sell Youssef Chermiti too soon?
Chermiti didn’t get a sniff under Moyes, as he was given just 40 minutes of Premier League football.
Moyes baffled Everton fans with his treatment of Chermiti at times, as on one occasion last season, he decided to leave the striker out of his squad and instead select three right-back options for the bench.
The Toffees suffered a 2-0 defeat to Manchester City in that clash and could’ve really done with an attacking substitution.
Now, the Scotsman’s decision to sell Chermiti looks like it could be a mistake, as he continues to go from strength to strength in Scotland.
It wouldn’t at all be surprising if Rangers end up making a significant profit on the Portugal youth international.
Meanwhile, Everton have been held back by Thierno Barry and Beto’s inconsistency this term.

Moyes is already eyeing a move for Alexander Sorloth ahead of the summer transfer window, so the search for a number nine continues.
