Manchester United prepare for battle with European giants to sign£60m defender, he is“destined to be world-class”

Manchester United prepare for an epic transfer saga with various top European clubs to secure the signing of the sought-after defender.

After a change in operations at Manchester United, the Reds have secured a spot amongst the Premier League’s top clubs currently and are pushing for Champions League football for the first time in two years.

The acquisition of Christopher Vivell has had a positive influence. During his employment, United have signed Benjamin Šeško, Bryan Mbuemo, and Matheus Cunha, three players who are currently setting the league alight.

It is common knowledge that United is looking for a central midfielder this summer, after the vastly experienced Casemiro announced he won’t be renewing his contract with the club.

But the Reds aren’t stopping there. Reports now suggest United are in for a proven Premier League fullback, who is “destined to be world-class”.

United target Kayode

Michael Kayode joined Brentford permanently from Fiorentina last summer and has impressed with his physical prowess and dynamic movement.

Kayode has been touted as one of Europe’s top promising talents, and European giants are starting to eye up the Italian right-back.

TeamTalk has reported that Manchester City are the frontrunners to snatch Kayode away from Brentford, but Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and many other European elites remain in the race.

United must provide Brentford with a lucrative bid to secure the signing of Kayode, which has become possible by the £190 million the board is willing to splash this summer.

TeamTalk has reported that £60 million should be enough to sign Kayode, but with pressure from elite clubs with large resources, like PSG and Real Madrid, the board may want to throw a bit more money at the proceedings.

Kayode is the perfect signing

Since he arrived in the Premier League, Kayode has secured his place in Brentford’s starting eleven and has become known for his abnormally long throw-ins, a trait that is rare in modern football.

His physical attributes are to be admired as well. Kayode shows his pace and strength are at the top-level of world-football, meaning he can progress the ball up the pitch with ease.

His archetype is not too dissimilar to left-sided prodigy Patrick Dorgu, who possesses very similar traits. With both players on either side of the defence, United would be sorted for the foreseeable future.

Daniel Munoz is one player linked with a move to the Reds. Despite his obvious ability, Munoz is 29 years old, which may deter United from chasing the Colombian. Meaning Kayode remains the favourite option.
