The escalating feud within the Beckham family suggests that David and Victoria may not be able to extend birthday wishes to their son, Brooklyn, this year.
Brooklyn, who celebrates his 27th birthday on Wednesday, sent shockwaves through the media with a startling statement he issued in January. Following months of conjecture surrounding the family's dynamics, the eldest Beckham child unveiled his perspective with a dramatic social media post.
The Manchester United legend and ex-Spice Girl are also said to have received a legal letter from Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, last summer. The letter reportedly requested that David and Victoria cease all communication with the couple and refrain from mentioning them on social media.

Whilst the letter was merely a request and has not yet resulted in any action, it is understood that Brooklyn has also blocked his parents online.
These drastic measures taken by the 27-year-old could mean that David and Victoria will be unable to send any birthday greetings to their estranged son, as various communication channels are currently closed off.
The family rift reached a climax when Brooklyn and Nicola were noticeably absent from the former England skipper's 50th celebrations in London back in May 2025.

Brooklyn's shocking Instagram post, which came months later, accused his famous parents of trying to "ruin" his relationship with Nicola since their April 2022 nuptials. He also claimed to have been the target of "relentless attacks" from them in the media.
His statement read: "I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed.
"I do not want to reconcile with my family. I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life. For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family.

"The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into. Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they'll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade."

David and Victoria have yet to publicly address their eldest son's bombshell allegations. However, in a post celebrating Brooklyn's 26th birthday last year, David admitted he longed to see his firstborn.
The ex-Real Madrid winger wrote: "Happy Birthday Bust x we love you so much have the best day lots of cake and hot sauce, we miss you." The snap showcased a young Brooklyn pulling funny faces alongside his dad. The 50-year-old even tagged his son and several other family members in his post.
