If they avoid the drop, retaining stars like Jarrod Bowen and Mateus Fernandes is more feasible, but relegation could trigger a major exodus.
Now, a Premier League giant is reportedly circling.

According to TEAMtalk, Manchester United are considering a staggering £94.5 million deal for two of West Ham’s standout performers.
The Red Devils, rejuvenated under Michael Carrick, are looking ahead to a potential Champions League campaign next season — a prospect that could prove irresistible for the Hammers’ stars.
Sources suggest Jarrod Bowen is “very open” to a move, given West Ham’s struggles this term. Meanwhile, Mateus Fernandes, signed from Southampton last summer for £42 million, could also be on the table if the Hammers need to raise funds.
United are said to be planning a midfield overhaul and had reportedly monitored Fernandes as far back as January.
Premier League Power Play Could Hit West Ham Hard
Selling Bowen and Fernandes would be a seismic blow to the London Stadium, both on and off the pitch.
Bowen, already a modern club icon, drives the team’s attack, while Fernandes is rapidly establishing himself as a creative force in midfield.
From a business perspective, the Hammers would receive a significant financial windfall, but losing both would make survival even tougher.
If they manage to stay in the Premier League, retaining these two stars isn’t just desirable — it’s essential for any hope of stability next season.
