Tottenham are in the market for a new director to replace Fabio Paratici, who left the club in February, and Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that an in-demand technical director was in the stands to watch their game against Crystal Palace on Thursday evening.
It was confirmed back in January that Paratici would be heading through the exit door after the winter window had closed. Their director of football headed to Italian club Fiorentina at the beginning of February, and Spurs are now in the market for his replacement.
Tottenham will be particularly desperate to get a new director through the door as soon as possible, as they hope to prepare for a busy summer transfer window.
Whether that will be in preparation for a season in the Premier League or the Championship, remains to be seen.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported that former Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli has been spotted at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for their game against Crystal Palace.
Romano claims that Giuntoli is appreciated by several clubs around the world, and it's interesting timing that he's at the Tottenham stadium with them being in the market for a new director.
A report from The Telegraph has confirmed that Spurs have now started the process of finding a new sporting director to replace Paratici, with Dougie Freedman one of their targets.
