Chido Obi is a nominee for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award following his recent run of form for Manchester United’s U21 side.
It’s been over a year since Chido Obi made his Manchester United debut, and he went on to make a further seven appearances before the end of last season.
The young striker has not made a single appearance for United’s first team this term, although he has continued his development in the academy.
Obi has 14 goals in all competitions for the U21s and U18s, with the former Arsenal starlet hoping to help guide Darren Fletcher’s young side to FA Youth Cup glory.

When will Chido Obi return to action?
There is a chance Obi could return to action when United’s U21s take on Birmingham City at the Arden Garages Stadium on Friday night.
If Obi is forced to wait longer after suffering a head injury, United fans will have to wait until March 13, when Lawrence’s side host Southampton at Carrington.
It remains to be seen if Michael Carrick has any plans to give Obi any minutes in the first team.
Of course, it doesn’t help that United haven’t had many cup matches this season, after crashing out of the FA Cup and Carabao Cup in the early rounds.
