Benjamin Sesko has earned massive recognition ahead of Manchester United teammate Bruno Fernandes after being in contention for two Premier League awards for the month of February.
The 22-year-old Slovenian forward has enjoyed a turnaround in form under Michael Carrick since the 44-year-old Manchester United legend returned to Old Trafford.

The Slovenia international netted the winner in Man Utd’s 3-2 result against Fulham and found the back of the net for an equaliser in the 1-1 draw against West Ham.

Benjamin Sesko is nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month as Bruno Fernandes falls short
Benjamin Sesko signed off February by climbing off the bench and scoring the crucial winner in Manchester United’s 1-0 Premier League win over Everton.
The United striker has since climbed back into the starting XI under Michael Carrick and Sesko scored the winner in the 2-1 result against Crystal Palace last week.

Sesko’s exploits and resurgence in form for Man Utd in February saw him secure a place in the six-man shortlist for February’s Player of the Month award.
The Red Devils forward is the only United player to be among the nominations on the Premier League’s official website, with captain Bruno Fernandes falling short.
Bruno Fernandes has equally impressed under United legend Carrick since his return to a more advanced attacking position on the pitch in the post-Ruben Amorim era.

Benjamin Sesko’s impact for Man Utd against Fulham earns the striker a Premier League Goal of the Month nomination
Alongside his nomination for Premier League Player of the Month, Sesko is also challenging for the Goal of the Month accolade after his impact against Fulham.
Sesko ensured that United sealed all three points over Fulham at Old Trafford in February after a superb injury-time strike past a helpless Bernd Leno on the day.
The Premier League’s official website has now revealed that in-form striker Sesko is one of the eight nominees vying for the Goal of the Month for February.
United fans can vote for Sesko for Goal of the Month and Premier League Player of the Month until 9th March, with voting closing at 12:00pm UK time on Monday.
