The Manchester United Supporters' Trust (MUST) have hit out at the decision to raise season ticket prices at Old Trafford for the fourth successive season and called on the club to listen to the voice of fans.
Season ticket prices will rise by 5% for the fourth straight campaign, meaning next year the cheapest Old Trafford season ticket (£646) will be more than £100 more expensive than it was for the 2022/23 season.
Previously, season tickets had been frozen for 11 years, but United insist the substantial price rises now are being used to boost revenues, which will be reinvested in on-pitch success and facilities.

They will also move more than 600 supporters from near the dugouts in the Sir Bobby Charlton Stand to create more hospitality and MUST hit out the club's decision on both fronts.
“It is disappointing that the club has ignored our call, as part of the FSA’s league-wide campaign, for a ticket price freeze," MUST said in a statement. "Supporters are paying more and more to watch their team, and as the FSA campaign said: enough is enough.
“We’ve also learned that 600 more loyal fans are being moved for ever more hospitality. Those people will be understandably furious, and need to be better treated by the club than those who went through the same thing last year were."
As part of the announcement on Friday, United revealed they will reinstate ticket collections for European away games next season and will also avoid increasing the rules around minimum usage for season tickets, which currently stands at 16 of the 19 games.
MUST said: "We are pleased the club listened to some of our concerns and there are no further restrictions on season ticket holders forwarding their tickets and no increase in the minimum usage rules. Football clubs make better decisions when they listen to fans - they should do it more!”
