Martinez back, Amad starts: Manchester United predicted line up vs Aston Villa - gallery

Michael Carrick will hope to use the extra time off as a positive as he aims to bounce back from his first defeat as United head coach. The Reds were poor in their midweek loss at Newcastle, but can take another huge step towards Champions League qualification if they beat Aston Villa at home next weekend.

United could also be boosted by the return of some injured players, with Lisandro Martinez and Mason Mount the two most likely to be back in the squad against Villa. Noussair Mazraoui suffered a small scare in the Newcastle loss, while Matthijs De Ligt and Patrick Dorgu are considered long-term absentees.

Here is an early look at how we think United should line up against Villa.
