Newcastle United are understood to be targeting a new goalkeeper this summer.
Newcastle United are reportedly keeping tabs on Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel.
The No.1 spot has become a hot topic at St James’ Park in recent times. Nick Pope was dropped for the Manchester United clash following his blunder against Everton last weekend.

When asked if the position would be a target area after Pope’s mistake against Everton, Howe said last weekend: “I think it’s difficult for me to comment on any one player or position. "I do not comment on such things at all,” Kobel said. “It was important to me that we were in the Champions League, because this club simply belongs in the Champions League. It has been a hell of a four years here. The Champions League final, almost champions, and this year it was a completely different season. It was definitely exciting, and you never got bored."
