Noussair Mazraoui admits he is ‘really sad’ to see Casemiro leave Manchester United at the end of the season, warning of the consequences of losing such an experienced player.
Manchester United are planning to revamp the midfield in the summer following Casemiro’s exit announcement. The 34-year-old will leave Old Trafford at the end of the season when his contract expires.
Despite being past his best, Casemiro remains a key player in the United line-up as he partners Kobbie Mainoo in the middle of the pitch.
Finding an adequate replacement for Casemiro will be a difficult task, but United have no shortage of potential transfer targets if you believe everything you read in the newspapers.

Noussair Mazraoui says Man Utd will miss Casemiro
United won’t U-turn on the decision to allow Casemiro to move on when his contract expires in June.
It has long been accepted that Casemiro hasn’t got the legs he once had. United’s typical schedule of one match per week has suited the Brazilian veteran, undoubtedly contributing to his resurgence in the Premier League.
Casemiro has started all seven matches under Carrick, but his impending departure was announced while Ruben Amorim was still in charge.

In a big interview with ManUtd.com, United right back Noussair Mazraoui revealed how he felt when he heard the news about Casemiro leaving.
“Yeah, really sad,” Mazraoui said.
“I think the announcement, when I saw it, was like… it was a sad day.”
The Morocco international was then asked about what Casemiro brings to the squad, where he issued a warning to the club as he considers the Brazilian important to United’s quest to win football matches.
“He brings experience, like crazy,” he added.
“He knows how it is to win. He knows how it is, also, the road to win, because he has done it, he has lived it. So, yeah, we’re going to miss him a lot in the team, outside of the pitch, inside the pitch, of course.”

Noussair Mazraoui reveals favourite moment with Casemiro
Casemiro will leave United with multiple highlights.
In his first season, Casemiro scored a clinical header in the Carabao Cup final win over Newcastle. It set the tone for a 2-0 win as Erik ten Hag helped the team end a trophy drought.
Casemiro will also be remembered for his last-gasp header against Chelsea in the 94th-minute to salvage a 1-1 draw.
When Mazraoui was asked about his favourite moment with Casemiro, he said: “One moment which just pops into my mind, he’s like, in the game, he’s really focused, of course, disciplined and everything.
“He wants to win every minute of the game. I think one time it was final whistle, we won that game. We won the ball back at the right-back spot and he was there as well to support, and I think he had the ball. The referee whistled and then he gave me a panna, a nutmeg, at the end of the game and started laughing and I started laughing!
“But yeah, that’s how he is. He’s like joking but also a really, really great guy.”
