Antonee Robinson has had an injury-ridden season in the Premier League but continues to attract transfer interest at Fulham.

Manchester United and Aston Villa are set to compete over a summer transfer swoop for Fulham full-back Antonee Robinson, according to reports.

The United States international has found himself at the centre of transfer rumours before with frequent talk of interest from Champions League sides. That had somewhat cooled this season with the 28-year-old struggling for minutes due to a knee injury.

Robinson has only made 13 appearances in the Premier League so far this season but played 90 minutes for the first time since mid January in the 1-0 defeat to West Ham last week. The full-back has racked up 206 appearances for Fulham since 2020.

The defender won the Championship with the Cottagers in 2022 and has gone on to cement himself as one of the most highly rated full-backs in the league. Robinson is contracted with Fulham until 2028, which would give the London outfit negotiating power should bids come in.

Man Utd and Aston Villa linked with £25m Fulham transfer move

Journalist Sebastian Vidal took to social media platform X to share interest from Manchester United and Aston Villa with a £25 million move touted. SportsBoom backs up those claims with reports that the Red Devils and Villains are ‘closely monitoring’ the player.

It’s added that Robinson is thought to be ‘eager’ to play Champions League football, which is something that both Manchester United and Aston Villa will hope to offer him. Fulham paid just £2 million to sign the defender from Wigan Athletic in 2020 and would make a sizeable profit from any sale.

Speaking via Marca in 2024, Robinson had hinted that he would be open for an exit, should Fulham green light a transfer. He said: “I'm very happy here. The fact that there is interest from other teams is great. Obviously, it all comes down to whether someone wants me enough to pay what Fulham would ask. So, if the club sees it as a good idea, I would leave.”
