Manchester United have been linked with a move for Newcastle star Bruno Guimaraes and transfer chiefs at Old Trafford have already worked with his agency.
The top priority for Manchester United in the summer transfer window is signing a replacement for Casemiro after he announced he is leaving at the end of the season.
Casemiro recommended Bruno Guimaraes to United as his replacement after playing alongside him in the Brazil national team.
United were linked with Guimaraes back in 2022 before he made his move to Tyneside, and at Newcastle, he has now proven he is an elite Premier League talent.

Matheus Cunha and Bruno Guimaraes have the same agent
In the recent summer window, United signed Matheus Cunha for £62.5m from Wolves, and the negotiation phase went very smoothly for Ineos as Matheus Cunha was announced on the first day of the window.
Fabrizio Romano explained that United had positive contact with Cunha’s agent during talks, and that spells good news for any potential Guimaraes deal considering the Brazilian duo are under the same agency.
Cunha and Guimaraes are both signed to Brazilian agency Bertolucci Sports, led by agent Giuliano Bertolucci.

Super agent Jorge Mendes was also involved in Cunha’s move, but he worked alongside Bertolucci to complete the £62.5m transfer deal.
Cunha and Guimaraes are joined by the likes of Gabriel Magalhaes, Andrey Santos, Marquinhos, Andreas Pereira and Douglas Luiz under the banner of Bertolucci.

Bruno Guimaraes is close with Matheus Cunha
Not only are Cunha and Guimaraes signed to the same agency, but the pair have grown close through playing together at Brazil.
Guimaraes has often interacted with Cunha’s social media posts, especially during his time at Wolves.

The duo have both represented Brazil since 2021 and even represented their country together at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020 where they won the gold medal.
Guimaraes has also complimented Casemiro, and he may soon have the opportunity to join the Red Devils and follow in his footsteps at Old Trafford.
