Former Man Utd boss Sir Alex Ferguson will share memories from his illustrious career in a new memoir.

A new memoir by Manchester United's legendary former manager Sir Alex Ferguson will be published in October. In Games of My Life, Ferguson writes about 21 matches that have meant the most to him. The book is fully illustrated and contains never-before-seen photographs and notebooks from his private archive.
Many of the photos were discovered by Sir Alex as he prepared to move house. Others were in his personal archive, accumulated over many years.
The book spans the entirety of Ferguson's life, including photos taken decades apart. Ferguson's previous autobiography, published in 2013, was a worldwide success. It sold more than a million copies in the UK alone, becoming the fastest-selling non-fiction book since records began.
The first memoir was about Ferguson's time in football, but the new memoir is about his life told through football.
Sir Alex Ferguson said: "I’ve selected 21 football games for this book which are particularly meaningful to me. The choices may surprise you because, rather than dwelling on the matches I’ve written about previously or those that might immediately register in the minds of fans, I’ve chosen games that take me back to different points in my life and which, even after the decades have passed, count for so much. Some of these games are not in any television archive. They are just memories. But, in my mind, I am watching them now – in vivid colour."
