Manchester United great Sir Alex Ferguson has announced a new memoir reflecting on his life through the lens of 21 football matches.
Titled Games of My Life, it offers fresh insights and personal reflections from the former United boss.
The memoir has been written with Ferguson’s long-time friend and author Sir Michael Moritz, and it will hit the bookshelves on October 8.
The book is fully illustrated and contains never-before-seen photographs and notebooks from the legendary manager’s archive.
Ahead of the book launch, Ferguson said in a statement: “I’ve selected 21 football games for this book which are particularly meaningful to me.
“The choices may surprise you because, rather than dwelling on the matches I’ve written about previously or those that might immediately register in the minds of fans, I’ve chosen games that take me back to different points in my life and which, even after the decades have passed, count for so much.”

Ferguson’s previous autobiography, published in 2013, became a bestseller and sold more than a million copies in the United Kingdom alone.
The 84-year-old’s last book was about his time in football, but the latest one is about his life told through football.
