Man Utd defender Lisandro Martinez is currently nursing a calf injury that has kept him sidelined for the last three games.
The Argentinian international wasn’t expected to be out for as long as he has, and when asked about the issue before the defeat to Newcastle, manager Michael Carrick said:
“We will have to wait and see. He’s close, he’s not far away. It’s hard to say at the moment.”
Considering the 10-day gap between fixtures, Carrick’s words suggest that Martinez should be available for United’s next match.

Noussair Mazraoui
The Moroccan started the 2-1 defeat to Newcastle last Wednesday, but he was substituted with five minutes to go at St James’ Park.
It was later confirmed that Mazraoui had picked up a knock, but if the injury is as minor as reported, then he should be in contention this weekend.
