Manchester United connection
Triple S Sports was founded in 2009 by Wayne Rooney’s former agent Paul Stretford. It is the logical choice for his son Kai to sign with the agency.
Two current Manchester United first team players are currently on the agency’s books, Harry Maguire and Shea Lacey.
Lacey has just returned from injury and is training with the first team again, looking to earn a recall after making his debut in December 2025.

He explained: “The way the game is tactically. If you look worldwide there’s not many number nines. So it’s not just a problem in England, it’s a problem throughout the world in number nines.”
Wayne said of Kai: “He’s gone to the right. Left-footed, coming in off the right.”
Kai Rooney’s goalscoring touch
Kai Rooney has still showcased his goalscoring touch for Manchester United under-18s this season when he has had an opportunity.
He is still flitting between the 16s and 18s, and is expected to become more of a regular next season.
This season Kai Rooney has scored three goals for the under-18s, most recently in the Premier League Cup semi-final.
Rooney came off the bench in the tie with West Ham at Carrington, netting an extra-time goal to seal a 3-1 victory.
He has also played in the FA Youth Cup, following in his dad’s footsteps by playing at Old Trafford in an early round.
Rooney is expected to be announced as one of the club’s under-18s scholars in July and pen a professional contract.
