The 16-year-old is one of the most exciting talents in the United academy and has teamed up with the same agency that represented his father, Wayne, during his playing career. Triple S is owned by agent Paul Stretford and signifies another important step in the future of the United youngster as he aims to follow in his father's footsteps at Old Trafford.

Rooney has attracted plenty of attention during his time in the United academy and recently caught the eye of co-owner Jim Ratcliffe when he scored for the U18s in their 3-1 victory over West Ham at the start of the month. The teenage attacker will hope to produce another star performance when United face Crystal Palace in the U18 Premier League Cup final next month.
