Newcastle United are desperate to get Bruno Guimaraes back in action.
Lewis Hall is adamant Bruno Guimaraes “loves” Newcastle United as he roared on his teammates from Brazil.
The Magpies have been without Guimaraes since he suffered a hamstring strain at the start of last month. He has been allowed to heal up in his native country for the first leg of rehabilitation.
It is expected that Guimaraes will travel to Tyneside at the end of this month as he nears a full recovery. The 28-year-old - idolised at St James' Park since arriving in 2022 - added goals to his game before suffering his latest setback.
Bruno Guimaraes legend status
Upon joining the Magpies, Guimaraes set out to achieve legendary status. The midfielder achieved that last year by captaining the club to their first domestic trophy for seven decades.
For now, he appears wedded to Newcastle and has spoken openly about his love for the fans. But that has not stopped speculation from generating regarding Guimaraes’ future.
The Toon favourite will have two years remaining on his deal at the end of the campaign. Now would be a good time to renew given the arm’s length interest from Manchester United.

“When he signed, the club was in a tricky situation. And now being our captain and a massive player for us is obviously a credit to him. He’s such a magical player.
“He does so many things in the game that a lot of people can’t do. We’re gonna miss him a lot, but hopefully he can recover quickly and be back as soon as possible.”
