Manchester United face Aston Villa next in the Premier League and Amad will have fond memories of facing them at Old Trafford.
A crucial Champions League qualification battle is on the horizon for Manchester United when they face Aston Villa, with both clubs tied for third in the Premier League table as it stands.
Last season, United beat Villa 2-0 at Old Trafford in the final game of the 2024/25 season in what was one of the best performances under Ruben Amorim at the time.
Amad Diallo scored and assisted against Villa to end his campaign on a high note. He can take confidence from that performance into this weekend.

Amad Diallo tore Aston Villa to shreds at Old Trafford
United burst into life in the second half against Villa last season after goalkeeper target Emiliano Martinez was sent off on the brink of half-time.
Amad Diallo opened the scoring with a superb header from a Bruno Fernandes cross, and he was then fouled by Ian Maatsen to earn United a penalty converted by Christian Eriksen.

It was a strong end to the season for Amad, who finished the campaign with 11 goals and 10 assists across all competitions.
Amad has been dropped by Michael Carrick in recent weeks, but in his only appearance against Villa he produced one of his best performances, so Carrick and his staff may want to think hard about recalling the 23-year-old to the starting line-up.

Man Utd fans wanted Amad to stay at right wing-back
After the win over Villa last season, where United were dominant and threatening throughout, United fans spoke honestly about Amad’s performance.
Interestingly, United fans agreed Amad was best at wing-back, but clearly that will not happen this weekend as Carrick has returned to a 4-2-3-1 shape.
The change in formation since Amorim’s sacking means that Amad and Bryan Mbeumo are competing for positions on the right side of attack.
