JJ Gabriel sends message after Man Utd first-team training, Marcus Rashford responds

JJ Gabriel has been back in the first team for Manchester United training this week, earning recognition from Marcus Rashford.

It is almost weekly now that 15-year-old JJ Gabriel finds himself in first-team training working alongside the biggest names at Carrington.

This week has been no different, as Gabriel was photographed in training for Manchester United alongside Leny Yoro and others.

Gabriel looks right at home with the senior players, which is crazy to think considering he is so young. After training, Gabriel posted on his Instagram, with Marcus Rashford quick to respond.

Gabriel has also been endorsed by Bryan Mbeumo recently, stating that the wonderkid is clearly a special talent. He has also earned plaudits from Wayne Rooney in the past.

However, the praise from Rashford will have a special place in Gabriel’s heart.

Where do you think JJ Gabriel will be by the time he is 18?🔮

He's been playing against 18-year-olds all season, but how good will he be in three years?

Rashford gave Gabriel a special experience at Manchester United

Gabriel will appreciate the praise from Rashford, particularly given the two have a close relationship akin to a teacher and student.

Before leaving for Aston Villa on loan, Rashford took time to train with Gabriel, individually taking penalties with the 14-year-old at the time, which shows how highly regarded he was even then.

After Gabriel made his U18 debut almost a year ago, Rashford hailed him as a ‘future star’, showing that he was following the wonderkid’s progress, and he will be thrilled to now see him in the senior side.

The next step will be for Gabriel to follow Rashford into the first team and have a similar impact.

Rashford will surely be watching to see if he does.
